Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My husband and I took photos downtown (so cold!) and ran several errands this weekend and it was so much fun! We also did a ton of de-cluttering around the house. Let me tell you, nothing feels better than getting rid of a TON of stuff taking up a ton of space, especially when space is limited. I also donated lots of bags of clothing, which was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. It felt like a new home, and it felt oh so good. Who else loves to de-clutter?!
Today I’m sharing a warm, fall look that we shot at a beautiful restaurant and event center in Utah. It’s completely surrounded by trees and flowers and I thought the scene went so well with this look. This pom beanie from J. Crew is a closet staple for me in the fall and winter months – same goes with the boots! I can’t say enough about how comfy these boots are from Express. I got them a while back during their annual half-off sale and GUESS WHAT?! It’s going on NOW! Head over to Express.com and shop EVERYTHING for 50% off. I hope you all enjoy and again, Happy Tuesday and more so, Happy almost-Thanksgiving!
Good morning and happy HAPPY (finally) Friday lovelies!
I’m incredibly excited for the weekend to begin. Joey and I will take some photos, spend time with family and get things ready for Thanksgiving! We already have our Christmas tree up so that’s one less thing we have to do and it makes me so happy that it’s done! I hope you’re all cozy in your homes and warmed up with a cup of hot chocolate on this beautiful Friday, enjoying yourself and surrounded by nothing but positivity. As cheesy as that sounds, that’s what makes me happy. If it doesn’t float your boat, I still hope you’re filled with joy today. I want nothing but the best for my readers!
With that, I’m excited to share the next look with you guys! Today’s outfit brings us more cozy pinks. I found this sweater at a thrift store and nothing makes me more excited about shopping when I can find a really, really killer deal. I love everything about bows and the fact that this sash ties into one is the cherry on top of the perfect woven cake for me. 😉 I hope you all enjoy this one and Happy Friday.
Hello beautiful people and Happy Hump Day! I hope your Wednesday is going well so far, mine is! I worked from home the last 2 days so it feels really, really good to be back in the office. There’s just a certain energy and buzz when you’re around your fellow peers, it feels really good and inspiring.
Today, I want to share this very simple but versatile look. Firstly, grey and pink is one of my absolute favorite combinations. I love everything about chunky sweaters and cardigans, and this oversized one is perfect for fall – and I love how long it is! I chose an extra large so it can…well, be extra large on me. Sometimes cardis and sweaters are created to be oversized but this one wasn’t, yet I wanted to pull off that look so I chose a larger size. This is really a chameleon wardrobe staple item; it can be worn with a dressed up outfit and pumps or as I’ve shown here, which is something a bit more casual. The shoes dress everything up a bit more but more so than that, I love pairing pointed heels with jeans. It just looks so chic to me. And the fact that it’s not snowing yet is great for these kinds of outfits, we’ve had perfect fall weather (but I will say…starting Thanksgiving I’ll be completely ready for the snow).
I hope you all enjoy! Outfit details at the bottom of the post, as always loves!
Good morning lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful and eventful weekend! My husband and I spent a relaxing Friday in planning some photoshoots and testing out presets in Lightroom. On Saturday we went grocery shopping, visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the South Town Shops (it’s a small section of the mall that had a bunch of Harry Potter merch with photos and an Ollivander’s and a Honeydukes… So fun for anyone that is a Harry Potter fan like me!). My husband is not an HP fan at all but he knew I’d never pass anything Harry Potter related up. Never!
It’s getting chillier here in Salt Lake so I’m really trying to step it up with the warmth but keep showing off my thin blouses – like this pink one! I decided to wear it despite the cold weather, but paired it with this lovely vintage faux fur sweater. It looks a bit like a coat, but other than the faux fur collar, it’s just a woven material. It makes me feel like such a badass so I was ecstatic to pair it with this gorgeous Chanel bag. I hope you enjoy it! Links to everything are down below. Happy Monday!!!
Good morning lovelies! I hope you’re all having a great Wednesday so far. I can’t wait for the weekend, really. My husband and I are going to this Harry Potter event, I’m soooo excited. He doesn’t care much for good ole HP but I am a die hard fan. We also have tickets to see the Harry Potter symphony orchestra this Christmas too and I am beyond stoked for that one. Needless to say – it’s going to be a damn fine weekend. 😉
Today I thought I’d share a look that makes me feel ultra fancy. I love the idea of wrapping a blanket scarf around you and keeping it together with a classy brooch. In this case I chose one that I’ve had for years; I purchased it at a local vintage shop in downtown Salt Lake City. It matches perfectly with the teardrop earrings I wore and the scarf is a perfect combo with the bright red sweater from Express. I love this look and I love the fact that I paired it with these heeled booties from Tommy Hilfiger; they’re a staple for fall! I hope you enjoy and happy Hump Day beauties!
