Good morning lovelies! Happy Hump Day! I hope you’re all having a great week thus far. Today I wanted to share this amazing and incredibly comfy fall sweater that I couldn’t wait to wear this season! It’s more like a poncho but then it has these short sleeves so it’s pretty large and cozy, but that’s truly what I love about it. And the color! The color screams fall, so I figured taking the photos in an area like this, when the leaves are just beginning to turn yellow to introduce fall, would be perfect. I decided to pair it with this small bow waist belt and and statement earrings. And don’t forget the shoes! I’m such a sucker for a good quality shoe and I’m so in love with these booties from Tommy Hilfiger. They’re probably going to be my number 1 worn boots for the season. So in love. I hope you all enjoy!
Good morning lovelies and Happy Monday! I hope you all had an excellent weekend. I know I did! Other than running errands and doing some weekend cleaning and chilling with my hubby, we went to the State Fair. It was seriously SO much fun! We had a blast walking around, visiting all the vendors and seeing the presentation, the rides, the food, the oysters, the ice cream ahhh! It was all so great. I highly encourage everyone to go to their local fair, I haven’t had that much fun… well, since the weekend prior when I got married. 😉
For today’s look I wanted to share so many pieces that I am in total love with. Firstly, these distressed jeans that were a bargain are not only stretchy and incredibly comfortable but they are SO cute! So stylish and chic, I’m in love! The color also pairs well with lots of other pieces and tones so I’m excited to really wear them out! The blouse I’m wearing is kind of a jersey material but so incredibly soft. It’s lightweight and it flows very nicely with the wind, so it’s a very beautiful way to stay covered just in case it gets a bit chilly, but it’s open and airy enough to keep you cool when it’s too hot. Just a great and practical blouse. The last thing I really wanted to highlight is this beautiful blush pink crossbody bag from Forever 21. It’s so chic and goes with so many of my clothes; I really feel it’s a staple closet piece. I even found one of my old satin houndstooth scarves and tied it around the handles – what a great way to spice up a bag! I hope you all enjoy this one. Happy Monday again!
Good morning lovelies! I hope you’re all having such a wonderful day today. Work has kept me pretty busy but I’m really loving it so I can’t complain. I’m also LOVING being a newlywed! It’s everything people say it is, and more.
Today I want to share a classy and slightly colorful look I’ve really been in love with since I bought these shoes a while back. The pieces are relatively old and I can’t recall the designer for a few of them but I assure you I’ll post similar items at the bottom of the photos. I wanted something clean and feminine, but also something that doesn’t scream square, you know? Like the bag with the scarf attached; I am really, really loving bags with silky and small scarves attached to the straps. I should do a post with my favorite scarves right now because I’ve found so many for great low prices that I’ve been in love with for some time. And it’s such a perfect accessory for fall, especially when it matches your lip color. So chic!
Anyway, scarf rant over! I wanted to talk about these shoes. These slightly chunky heeled pink and pearl slides are my life lately… They go with an alarming amount of other colors and styles very well. They can really be paired with so many leggings, jeggings, pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, ahh! It doesn’t end. I can’t wait to show them off more in other posts. I hope you all enjoy this one and happy Hump Day!
Good morning lovelies and Happy Monday! I hope you all had such a wonderful weekend. Mine was the best weekend it could possibly ever be… because I got married! My fiancé and I have been playing around with the idea of eloping for months and we finally did is this weekend in Vegas! It was honestly the most perfect and best thing to do for us, and it felt so right. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been! We will still have a ceremony and reception with family and friends next year, but this was something special and intimate we wanted to happen between just us two. It was the best day of my life and it was done on our anniversary. I couldn’t be more thrilled and thankful. <3
Today I wanted to share a lovely fall look for the office. I got this shirt on clearance at J. Crew a while back and wore it with so many pieces but it wasn’t until I realized that the burgundy pants I had matched the burgundy on the shirt that I finally found the perfect outfit for these two articles of clothing. Especially paired with some black to balance things out, I found that this combo screams fall and is comfy, appropriate, and classy. It’s still pretty warm here in SLC, but this look was very comfortable without the Ann Taylor cardigan. Once you’re inside though, they crank up that A/C so the cardi is a perfect add-on for me. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful week! Outfit details at the bottom of the post, as always. 😉
Good morning lovelies! Today I thought I’d do something funny and a little different for my post… I’m sharing my fashion pet peeves! I’m sharing trends that I believe need to be done and over with for…well, forever! 😉 I think everyone out there has seen certain trends that they really dislike and many speak out about them and may also don’t. I mean no harm to anyone by posting these photos, I just wanted to share some laughs with my fellow readers! I hope you enjoy. I go through some explanations a bit more in the post.
