Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week thus far! I’ve just been working, editing and doing research for my blog, and hanging out with some wonderful friends. How has your week been?!

Today I wanted to share a look that I put together last minute, but one that I didn’t realize how much I love until I saw it in photos. Sometimes you just don’t have time to put a lot of thought into a look and you just go with your gut; that’s what happened here and it turns out it worked out well for me! I really, really love patterns of one fabric mixed with patterns (or solid colors) of another. The contrast between clothes is very intriguing to me and I love to mix things up whenever I can. In this case, I’ve put together a blue blouse with white anchors underneath a grey J. Crew sweater. The blue in the necklace and the blue and white crossbody really completes the outfit. I have always been a sucker for accessories so I get so excited when pieces match really well with an outfit. I hope you all enjoy and Happy Hump Day!

I’m so jealous Martina, it’s already snowing and it’s still 80 down here. Seriously, if this is your outfit on the fly, then I like to see when you have a long time debilitate what to wear. I’m always so indecisive when it comes to coming up with outfits. I change like five times before I even get in front of the camera.

I’m loving the boots, and I like how you did the lairs and you let the pattern shirt peak through. I haven’t thought to do that, I’m going to have to try it.

Hahah I miss 80 degree weather, I’m cold ALL the time honestly. But the snow here is pretty beautiful when the holidays come around. Yeah, definitely try layers! Whenever I have a blouse I really want to wear but it’s way too cold, I try to find a way to show it off so I appreciate that you noticed.
