BURGUNDY FOR FALL & SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Good morning lovelies and Happy Monday! I hope you all had such a wonderful weekend. Mine was the best weekend it could possibly ever be… because I got married! My fiancé and I have been playing around with the idea of eloping for months and we finally did is this weekend in Vegas! It was honestly the most perfect and best thing to do for us, and it felt so right. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been! We will still have a ceremony and reception with family and friends next year, but this was something special and intimate we wanted to happen between just us two. It was the best day of my life and it was done on our anniversary. I couldn’t be more thrilled and thankful. <3

Today I wanted to share a lovely fall look for the office. I got this shirt on clearance at J. Crew a while back and wore it with so many pieces but it wasn’t until I realized that the burgundy pants I had matched the burgundy on the shirt that I finally found the perfect outfit for these two articles of clothing. Especially paired with some black to balance things out, I found that this combo screams fall and is comfy, appropriate, and classy. It’s still pretty warm here in SLC, but this look was very comfortable without the Ann Taylor cardigan. Once you’re inside though, they crank up that A/C so the cardi is a perfect add-on for me. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful week! Outfit details at the bottom of the post, as always. 😉

Oh my god, Martina! You got married! Congrats to you and your new hubby! I’m so happy for you hon! I would love to see the photos of your upcoming wedding. I’m a dedicated spinster, but I just love the romance of eloping in Vegas.

As for your outfit, it’s classy and elegant without being too dressed up. I am loving the peacoat. My mom brought this fab dark magenta peacoat and I’m jealous. My shape is weird so finding items like that is always expensive and tedious. I really love how you matched the burgundy pants and the shirt with the hint of black. I have some tights in that same color that I have aching to try out.

You always give me the greatest ideas. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you soooooooo, so much Gigi! I appreciate that very much! <3 It was a really wonderful weekend and it was extremely romantic - and we weren't drunk at all, ha! No, it was lovely. And everything I could ever ask for. I'm grateful and I appreciate the kindness on your part so much.
Ooh a magenta peacoat, mm! I am seriously loving coats of various bright colors for this winter, I think I'm going to start looking at consignment stores for some good ones, I'm sure I can find something soon. I'm so excited! You always give me so much inspiration, whether it be here in the comments or on your own fabulous blog. TRY THE TIGHTS OUT! Take photos and let me have a look at them, I'm sure they'd look gorgeous on you. I can't wait for long sweaters and sweater dresses with tights for fall and winter. This should be a great season!
Thank you again for stopping by. <3 Your visit is always and will always be appreciated.
