Good day everyone and HAPPY freakin FRIDAY! This has felt like one of the longest weeks I’ve ever had, so I’m incredibly excited that the weekend is so, so close! I hope you babes have really fun plans ahead. I’m going to write in my planner (why does this excite me so much?) and plan out some future posts and other fun things I have up my sleeve for the blog. I’m so excited for all of 2018, guys. It is what I make it, and I’m going to make sure it’s my best one yet.

Today’s look is all about staying extremely warm (it was so cold this day!) while still looking chic. We took these photos at Kimi’s Chop & Oyster House, my favorite restaurant in the Sugarhouse area in Salt Lake. So, so good! We only go there for special occasions but I crave their food constantly; they have the best steak and crab I’ve ever had. So juicy and decadent, my entire mouth just filled up with saliva just writing this. So, if you’re ever in Salt Lake City, or somewhere nearby, please go to Kimi’s. You won’t regret it… Alllllright moving on: I wore a semi-fitted Express sweater on with a white ribbed vest over it and a belt over that. Then I layered my Forever 21 peacoat (I’ve had this for yearrrrrrrrrs you guys, it’s treated me so well) on top and added a short houndstooth infinity scarf that my sister got me from HSN! I loved editing this set of photos and picking my favorites, the lights in the background made everything pop even more and I love the mood and tone it set. I hope you love the photos and the look! Happy Friday!

My wife and I eat at Kimi in Surgarhouse often and must agree with you about the food there being so, so good. If you would like, you should treat yourself to the mothers day brunch. Never seen so many different dishes and each one we tried was delicious.

Hey George! Thank you so much for the kind words, I appreciate that very much. Kimi’s is so good, I’m so glad you agree! I will certainly check out their Mother’s Day Brunch, perhaps I should just take my mom to lunch there this year. What a fantastic idea! Thank you so much for the comment!

Martina, I love this outfit. I like how you creatively layered everything to make it look like an effortlessly done. I especially like that white vest from TJMaxx and how you played on different textures along with colors.
