Good morning everyone! TGIF! I’m so, so glad the weekend is finally upon us. How are you going to spend the last weekend of the year?! My husband and I are going to spend some time with family and friends and that’s all I can ask for to be happiest this weekend. I love being surrounded by love and laughter, there’s no better feeling in the world. Except… except maybe a good photoshoot with my babe. 😉 Minus the freezing temps, of course. I love the snow and cold so much during Christmastime…but once it’s over, I’m so over it. I’m ready for spring, ugh.

Is anyone still on the New Years resolutions bandwagon? I’m thinking a few of mine will be to read a lot of books, way more than I have this year (and if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know your faves!), to practice yoga and meditation more often, to cook more and to work even harder and longer on my blog. I definitely want to incorporate videos and other non-style related posts so more of those will definitely be coming next year. So excited! What are your resolutions?

For this year’s NYE outfit, I decided to go with a bright red modest number and some kitten heeled booties. You can pair pretty much any shoes with this dress, but I wanted to go with the kitten heel because it’s the safest bet for walking around and/or dancing a lot and they’re so comfy for it… and they still look sleek and sexy on! I paired the look with some Express tights but you definitely don’t need those if you’re living in a warmer climate. I just hate freezing my ass off, y’know? This dress is a collab that Nicki Minaj did with H&M and it was love at first sight when I headed to the mall a few weeks ago with my sister. It was perfect in every way and it fit perfectly, too. I love, love, LOVE long sleeve mini dresses. I think they’re so classy and sexy, and the red definitely pumps that up. I hope you enjoy the look and Happy (almost) New Year!

Happy new year, Martina! I hope you had a wonderful NYE last night. I’m still recovering to be honest, but I made myself get out of bed and work. Anyway, I love, love, LOVE this outfit! It’s so classy and chic, but down to earth. If there was an outfit representative of your style, this outfit had to be it. I didn’t even Nicki Minaj had her own collection out. I’m going to have to see if she caters to plus sizes. I’m also a huge fan of that jacket and the big brass buttons. It really gives it a warm luxe comfty look. Anyway, happy New Year’s to both you and your hubby!
